Why Spokenly Starts with Mac

Spokenly started on macOS and iOS because that is where we could ship the best experience first. Local Whisper and Parakeet models run on-device, cloud models from Deepgram, OpenAI, Soniox, and others provide real-time streaming, and AI prompts powered by GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, and local LLMs process your text before it gets pasted.

On top of that, Spokenly has agent mode for voice-controlled macOS automation, a built-in MCP server for AI coding agents, file transcription with speaker labels, a voice journal, an iOS keyboard extension, and more. We want to bring all of this to Windows too.

What You Get with Spokenly on Mac

Spokenly is completely free with local models and BYOK. No account needed.
